Chocolate Peanutbutter Cups

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

I don’t know about you, but I cannot live without chocolate… These healthy and delicious Chocolate Peanutbutter Cups are a perfect desert to satisfy your sweet tooth. Especially in summer when it’s hot outside and you don’t fancy switching on the oven to bake something you will appreciate these simple no-bake, no-fuss chocolate cups. My tip is to keep them in the fridge so you have them chilled and crunchy. Absolutely to-die-for!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

My recipe is for 4 chocolate cups, but you can easily adjust the recipe for more or less servings. I usually don’t make too many to be on the safe side because in a choco-maniac household these seductive desserts are definitely not safe!

  • 80g dark chocolate (85%)
  • 4 tsp peanutbutter
  • 4 tsp nuts, ground

Melt half of the chocolate in a water bath (a small pot set in a bigger pot with boiling water).

Fill a generous 1,5 tbsp of melted chocolate in 4 silicon muffin cups. Set aside in the fridge and let the chocolate become firm for about 15 minutes.

Spread 1 tsp peanutbutter in each cup on the first chocolate layer. Melt the remaining chocolate in the water bath and cover the peanut butter with the melted chocolate. Top with nuts and set aside to cool for another 15 minutes.
